Handling an AOG Case

An AOG case is opened when an aircraft is grounded and needs a part or service delivered against a hard-time window. The case aggregates part sourcing, routing, customs pre-clearance and transport dispatch into one command surface.

From AOG Command → Open Case (or from an existing Shipment Twin via 'Escalate to AOG'), enter tail, station, part and airline. The case room appears at /aog/:id with routing, customs and transport panels linked to the underlying shipment.

   Declare the case

   Open AOG Command and click Open Case. Enter tail number, station, part number and airline. If a shipment already exists, escalate from its Digital Twin instead.

   Source the part

   Use the Routing Optimiser to pick the fastest depot with confirmed stock. The optimiser cites ETA and confidence per lane.

   Pre-clear customs

   Trigger AI Validation on the customs panel. Escalate immediately on any hold-risk flag.

   Dispatch transport

   Assign the driver and vehicle from the transport panel. ETA and driver contact are auto-shared with the airline.

   Communicate every leg

   Use the Copilot's stakeholder-comms drafts at each leg change (dispatch, in-transit, delivered).

   Close the case

   Mark delivered and confirm the airline sign-off. The case, audit trail and cost lines land on the Shipment Digital Twin.
